pursuing a life well lived

Living at a gentler pace is a lifestyle and philosophy. Doing more of those things that bring us joy. Finding fulfilment and purpose in new ways. Slowing down to connect with nature and reconnect to what we truly value.

the antidote to hustle and bustle

If you want to pursue life on your own terms and make the leap to live at a gentler pace, this is for you!

This is the journey I’m on. I’ve gone from working in a very conventional career to quitting my day job, and then moving to the country.

It was a leap of faith. I’m exploring this new way of life, its impact on me, the people around me, the local community and the planet.

My dreams were on a back burner for much of my life. As my husband, Chris, said recently, it’s now or never. If not now, then when will you make your dreams a reality?

In 2020 we moved to the country, to live in a small rural village in Derbyshire. A long held dream that I thought, for many years, was pie in the sky, it finally came true!

I’m now living a very different life, one that is much more me. I slotted right in! I embraced the country way of life, kitted myself out with hat, coat and boots, and spend my days roaming the country, visiting farms where I can spend time with the animals, writing and indulging my love for photography.

I finally listened to my heart and followed my bliss. If I can do it, you can too!
